Vendubz has been into drum n bass since he was thirteen, and has been into music his whole life. He started playing the saxophone and piano at the age of eight, which formed the backbone of his musical influence.
After investing in a pair of decks at fourteen, he slowly built up a large collection of records along with a high level of understanding about the compositional arrangements within dance music. Studying an A-Level in music technology was the beginning of production for Vendubz. During the music tech course, he gained knowledge surrounding sequencing and recording music. At 16, Vendubz produced his first track as part of the coursework, a drum'n'bass remix of 'Dirty Diana'.
Two years on, and Vendubz moved to North London to take a degree in performing arts. Whilst at University, he played a regular slot at The Rocket, Holloway, every Friday. After completing his degree in the summer of 2006, Vendubz returned to his home town of High Wycombe, to pursue a career in music.
April 2007 saw his track 'Justify' played by BBC 1xtra's Bailey, Flight and L Double, as part of the unsigned producer contest. Since receiving his first taste of radio airplay, Vendubz is continuing to push his productions to the next level.
