Solution has always been a fan of quality music irrespective of genre or fashion. From Nirvana to Cypress Hill his taste is wide ranging and eclectic.
Brought further into the rap world by such classic acts as the Pharcyde, Massive Attack, and Tribe Called Quest amongst others he decided to put his own twist on things when he started producing hip hop under his original moniker of DJ Phee.

His eyes were opened to Drum and Bass music back in 1995 after listening to Logical Progression on LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records. From that moment he was hooked. This inspired him to hit the decks himself and has since blessed the turntables at various London venues. He regularly produces mix cd’s which have gained recognition in the ends fortheir smooth mixes, versatile track selection and lavish cover artwork.

From humble beginnings of a Roland 303 Groovebox, a beaten up four track and a bag of weed – over the years Solution has created an instantly recognisable style of dark funk hip hop and hypnotic, atmospheric Drum and Bass which has captivated listeners with its sonic complexity and finely crafted soundscapes. Moving onto his now preferred software of choice – Solution utilises Logic as a main sequencer on the new IMac with various outboard hardware complementing his addition of samples and virtual instruments.
